Geography Day in India is celebrated on January 14 each year on the occasion of makarsankranthi. Geography day was celebrated in our college of Education recently. Our college of Education organised Geography teaching aids making competition on this occasion. Student teachers of B.Ed. took part enthusiastically in this program. Students and professors delivered speeches on this occasion.

This program and competition was planned and organised by Geography professor Swati Dharmadhikari under the guidance of Principal Dr Sunita Bhore madam.

National Mathematics Day is celebrated on 22 December every year to mark the birth anniversary of great Indian Mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan. Our college of Education celebrated National Mathematics Day on Saturday 28/12/2024 due to Sunday on 22 December. Student teachers took part enthusiastically in this program. They gave speeches describing the work of Srinivas Ramanujan and importance of Mathematics in various fields. Principal Dr Sunita Bhore and Mathematics subject professor Devdatta Rashinkar also delivered speeches on this occasion. Staff members were present on this occasion.

Our college of Education had organized visit to Tara Sofosh a home for family deprived and destitute specially abled children on Sunday 22/12/2024. This visit was organised under social service activity of B.Ed. first year.
Student teachers of first year took part enthusiastically in this activity and tried to understand the problems of these specially abled children through the officials and caretakers. They also donated grocery items and cash amount as small help from college.

Our college of Education had organized tree plantation and watering plants activity on Baner tukai hills under social service activity on Sunday 24/11/2024. This activity was conducted under the guidance and support of Vasundhara Abhiyaan, Pune. Student teachers of B.Ed. first year and staff took part enthusiastically in this activity.

This activity was planned and organised by Social service department head Dr Shrutika Watkar under the guidance of Principal Dr Sunita Bhore. Staff members were present on this occasion.

Health and yoga activity was conducted in our College of Education on Saturday 23/11/2024. A workshop on Healthy Body, Healthy Mind was conducted. Diet and nutrition expert Mrs. Amruta Zawar was resource person for this workshop. She explained the importance of healthy diet and good habits and also exercises beneficial for good health. Yoga session was also conducted.
Student teachers of B.Ed. first year took part enthusiastically in this workshop.

This workshop was planned and organised by Head of Health and yoga department Dr. Shrutika Watkar and Prof. Swati Dharmadhikari under the guidance of Principal Dr Sunita Bhore. All staff members were present on this occasion.

Our college of Education had organised cleanliness drive on Saturday 16/11/2024. B.Ed. first year student teachers took part in this activity enthusiastically and cleaned the part of SKP campus and nearby footpath. This activity was conducted by social service department. This activity was planned and organised by Asst Prof. Dr. Shrutika Watkar under the guidance of Principal Dr Sunita Bhore. All staff members were present on this occasion.

Swami Vivekanand Jayanti and Rajmata Jijau Jayanti was celebrated in our college of Education on 12/01/2024. Swami Vivekanand Jayanti is also known as Youth Day. The group singing competition was organized on this occasion. Student teachers of B.Ed. took part enthusiastically in this program. Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore and Prof. Uma Seri elaborated the important role of Swami Vivekanand in moulding Indian Society and Rajmata Jijau in upbringing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to become a Great Indian King . All staff members were present on this occasion.

Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti was celebrated in our college of education on 02/10/2023. Cleanliness drive was organized on this occasion. Student teachers of B.Ed. took part enthusiastically in this program and cleanliness drive of the college campus. This activity was planned and organized by Prof. Swati Dharmadhikari and all staff members under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore.

Tree plantation activity was conducted on 26/11/2023 (Sunday) on Tukai Hills at Baner , Pune. Tree plantation and watering to plants were done under the guidance of NGO ‘Vasundhara Abhiyaan’ Pune. Our B.Ed. college student teachers took part enthusiastically.
This activity was planned and organised by Social service department Head Prof. Swati Dharmadhikari and all Staff members under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore. Samvidhaan DIwas was also celebrated by reading Pledge (Preamble) given in our constitution.

An orientation session on Models of teaching was conducted in our college of Education on 4 March 2023 for B.Ed. first year student teachers.
For this orientation session our college invited eminent Professor of Education Dr.Suresh Isave sir of Tilak College of Education, Pune. In this orientation session Dr. Isave sir explained various Models of teaching with examples and their uses in teaching and learning.
This session was planned by Prof. Sulakshana madam under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore madam.

Teaching aids making workshop was conducted in our college of Education for B.Ed. first- and second-year student teachers on Saturday 17.12.2022. This workshop was conducted by Mr. Pandurang Jadhav sir and his team from Agastya foundation Pune.
In this workshop, procedure of making various teaching aids was demonstrated by Pandurang Jadhav sir. All student teachers took active participation in this workshop.
Founder President of SKP Hon Shri Ganpatrao Balwadkar visited the workshop and appreciated students work.
This workshop was planned and organised by Prof Dr. Leena Patil under guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore. Staff members were present and helped in organization of this workshop.

Rakhi making activity was organised under social service practical on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. B.Ed. first year students took part enthusiastically by preparing beautiful Rakhis and sending these Rakhis to students in Kamayani School for mentally handicapped, Pune.
This activity was planned and organised by Asst. Prof. Sulakshana madam under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore madam.

Soil is one of the most important natural resource which is required for existence of life on earth. Plastic waste , industrial and medical waste, floods etc. are causing soil erosion. Soil becomes infertile due to this.
Saving soil is the responsibility of everyone.
In our College of Education (B.Ed. college) we had organised a rally to spread awareness about saving soil.
Student teachers of B.Ed. first year participated enthusiastically in this rally with handmade banners about save soil.
This rally was planned and organised by Cultural department head Prof. Sulakshana madam and her group under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore

Human life exists on earth due to existence of environment on earth. Saving and nourishing our environment is our duty. Keeping this in mind, our college of Education (B.Ed. college) organised tree plantation activity on Tukai hills in Baner Pashan. Student teachers of B.Ed first year and all staff members took part enthusiastically in this tree plantation.
Vasundhara Abhiyaan Baner helped to organize this tree plantation activity. Shri. Bhujbal sir of Vasundhara Abhiyaan guided our student teachers about procedure of planting trees and its importance. Also they presented a trophy to appraise our work.
Principal Dr. Sunita Bhore and Dr. Kishori Ubhe thanked Vasundhara Abhiyaan for helping and guiding us for successful organisation of tree plantation activity.
